Before the Lark is a programme that explores the wonder of nature. We will travel from the stillness of night to the radiant dawn and beyond thought Gerald Finzi’s glorious Seven Poems of Robert Bridges. Alongside these gems of the English part song cannon, we will perform varied music including works by music by Hildegard von Bingen, Rheinberger, Eric Whitacre, Caroline Shaw and Shruthi Rajasekar in the beautiful acoustics of St John’s Renfield Church.
